Golf
Thursday August 9th - The Prairies Golf Club

The Prairies Golf Club was selected for our outing because of it's close proximity to the hotel (approx. 3.6 miles - 10 min). The course is mature and is known to be an enjoyable test for most golfers. The Club has full beverage service and lunch is included. Tee times will be determined by the amount of players and should start around 9:30 a.m. This will be a two person scramble format (blind draw) and prizes will be awarded at the "Awards Lunch" on Saturday. Sign up by using the registration form. (golf, cart, lunch and prizes included in fee)

Welcome Reception
Thursday August 9th, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Old Burdick's (SE corner of the Radisson)

Come on down and get to know everybody. Our Official Visitors: President-Elect William Harrison and Vice-President Lynn Bellenger will be on hand for a "Meet and Greet". They will be joined by a host of Region V Officers. This is sure to be a LOT of FUN!

Technical Session

This session has two parts:

1:30 - 2:15
Monte Troutman - ASHRAE Society CTTC Chair, will be speaking on "Greening ASHRAE Meetings and Expositions" (GAME)

2:15 - 3:00
Thomas Werkema - ASHRAE DL and CTTC Consultant, will be speaking on "International, Federal and State Perspectives on Carbon Reduction Schemes"

In keeping with the theme of the Greening of ASHRAE Meetings, Western Michigan Chapter is Proud to Present:

"Two Shades of Green"

The first shade of Green will be poster displays from Design firms highlighting their GREEN initiatives!

The second shade is "Gaming Green"
From beginner to advanced there will be a table for YOU! Try your hand at Texas Hold'em, Black Jack and more! You will be playing for Prizes & more Prizes!

Kids are invited too! There will be an area just for them, and they will be able to win prizes also!

Social time starts at 6:30 p.m
Dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Games start at 7:15 p.m. and go until 9:45 p.m.

At 9:45 the chips are counted!
